MORE DETAILS ON TOUCAN SHARE
Toucan Share has been retired from the fleet. To view current yacht visit: https://www.bviyachtcharters.com/bvi-yacht-charters-price-list-2/
Toucan Share is a 2018 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 519 that offers 3 cabins and 2 electric fresh water heads, air-conditioning, in-mast furling main, electric winches & bow thruster and much more.
The Sun Odyssey is well-designed for easy, comfortable cruising – and with her generous waterline and extended hard chine, she’s more than capable of sailing smoothly in high seas. She’s justifiably the flagship of the Sun Odyssey range. Big, sleek, luxurious, comfortable, quick, well-built – what’s not to like?
The cockpit is spacious and has a teak wooden floor and 2 helms. The starboard primary helm station houses all the controls for the bow thruster, windlass, auto pilot, compass, Ray Marine ES screens for navigation and the throttle, which is nicely mounted higher for easy adjustment. Comfortable are the back rest cushions for both helm stations. The twin wheels are finished off with leather wrapping for easy grip. The fold-down transom with telescopic swim ladder is easily controlled from the stern of the boat by push buttons. The wooden cockpit table is not only elegant, but very stable with easy-grab handrails and holders for bottles to avoid spillage. Two arms pull up to easily seat 6 adults for dining. Everything you need for care-free entertaining under sail or at the dock.
Inside she is spacious, with lots of headroom and the saloon’s expansive beam and there is an easy flow throughout the vessel. Toucan Share is a three-cabin/two bathroom version. The large master cabin in the bow hosts a rectangular island bed – very spacious – and, just aft of it on the starboard side, is a workstation/dressing table. This cabin has its own en suite head, with separate shower, vanity and toilet. The second bathroom is port midships, servicing the two identical aft cabins. And with that generous beam running all the way aft, these two cabins are massive.
Guests will be well-served by the 519’s galley. Like everything on the vessel, it’s spacious and stylish. It’s T-shaped, with a central ‘island’ section containing twin sinks. The galley offers a microwave, 3 burner stove and oven, fridge and freezer. The saloon has a comfortable U-shaped settee with a large folding dining table. On the starboard side of the saloon is a full-length settee divided by a drinks cabinet, complete with a pull-out drawer securely hosting bottles and glasses. The cabinet itself makes for a convenient side table. The chart table is aft facing, with an open design.
