MORE DETAILS ON SOLEIL RAE
Our Saba 50, Soleil Rae, is light, spacious and comfortable and offers 4 Double Cabins & 1 Super Single Cabin each with its own electric head. In addition, she has 2 bow cabins, suitable for older children or singles. Full A/C with generator and a cockpit fridge & ice maker.
Saba 50 – Performance
Soleil Rae is elegant on the water, with high levels of sailing performance. This is integrated into the design process from the very beginning in order to give the craft its beautiful lines as well as the best possible levels of comfort, both at sea and at mooring. Movement on board has been designed so that there is direct communication between the cockpit, the helm station and the lounge deck. Thus, the entire crew can easily move about in complete safety and without hindrance. Despite the boat’s size, it not only sails well, but remains easy to handle. The hulls, for example, have been given a fine entry for better performance, and a pair of fixed keels help the boat sail to weather. Your time under sail is simplified with 1 electric winch, a foot switch at the helm for the electric windlass and Chart plotter & radar, located one at the helm and one at the navigation table. The helm pod has a double seat and houses electronic displays, engine controls and the wheel. The winches are ahead and apart from the wheel so that anyone managing sails has room to work without getting in the way of the helms person. For single handing, the autopilot will come in handy.
Saba 50 – Accommodations
With the new Saba 50, Fountaine Pajot has optimized livability and comfort both inside and out. Multiple groups of people can socialize in segregated outdoor spaces, while the interior accommodations would put some hotels to shame. Soleil Rae has a generator and is fully air-conditioned for your comfort. The space on-board has been optimised in order to provide magnificent accommodation. The saloon and cockpit have generous storage areas, as do the passageways and the light-filled, spacious cabins.
Soleil Rae boasts 4 Double Cabins, 1 Super Single Cabin along with two very small single cabins in the bow, accessible through a hatch. Each of the 5 main cabins has it own dedicated washroom with electric head. All main cabins have their own AC controls along with various lighting options. The super single would comfortably sleep 2 children, or 1 adult.
The social area on the main deck has a galley that would make even a land-dweller jealous. Her galley is equipped with a large double drawer, stainless steel refrigerator, along with an additional fridge and additional cockpit fridge. A center island means multiple people can participate in meal preparation. A 4 burner stove, counter lever oven, additional microwave and charcoal grill making cooking a breeze. A sliding window next to the sink means meals can be passed directly from the galley to the cockpit.
Saba 50 – Lounge Deck
With so much deck space on the Saba 50, Fountaine Pajot was able to create three distinct and relatively separate social areas. The first is at the bow, where a conversation nook includes two lounges with accompanying settees and a cocktail table. Eight people can easily gather here for sun downers and enjoy the shade of the cabin house instead of baking in the aft cockpit. It’s a very civilized space that still leaves room for lounging in the trampoline but adds a super yacht feel.
The aft cockpit, is two steps up from a swim platform on either hull. To port is the main dining table that seats six when folded, but also extends back to a long transom seat so a total of 10 people can be invited to dinner. An additional lounge is to starboard. A hardtop targa roof extends back over most of the cockpit, stopping just short of the transom seat so you can catch some sun if you like.
The “flybridge” has three sun lounges and an additional settee to seat six people comfortable. The view is fantastic, and everyone can converse with the captain without getting in the way, because the separate helm is two steps down to starboard.
