MORE DETAILS ON STAR OF THE SEAS
STAR OF THE SEAS is our brand new, 2021, Beneteau 40.1 and will be available with us in the BVI from mid-December to mid-April.
With 3 doubles, 1 twin-bunk cabin and 2 heads, she’s a great choice for families or smaller groups.
Key features include a comfortable, well-sized cockpit, an extremely spacious saloon, and a large, well-equipped galley.
Her in-mast furling and self-tacking jib mean that she’s also easy to handle, and she gives excellent performance on all points of sailing – don’t be surprised if you clock up 7.5 knots when close-hauled in only 15 knots of wind!
Space is always important on a sailing vacation, and you won’t be disappointed in this respect – the large cockpit, well protected with a bimini and sprayhood, is a great place for taking meals or simply enjoying a cocktail as you watch another beautiful Caribbean sunset. And if you experience occasional liquid sunshine (known as rain showers!) you can always head for the incredibly roomy and modern main saloon which is nearly 12.5 feet across.
There’s a large, 190L fridge, lots of counter space, and several hatches and portlights to provide excellent through-flow of air.
The aft cabins both have large (4’6” x 6’8” / 1.36 m x 2.04 m) berths with good overhead space and the starboard aft heads compartment has a separate shower stall. The two forward cabins are also roomy, with a double, a twin which is perfect for youngsters or singles, and another heads compartment.
