We chose Miss Summer b/c boat explanation gave the impression we could have a true relaxed, island vibe vacation. We wanted sailing, good food & drink, fellowship, exploration and snorkeling. This was my 8th trip to BVIs since the 1980s (early childhood, before marriage) and by far, my favorite b/c of my experience on Miss Summer. Large crowds on big boats is not our style. {We suffered hurricane damage in Sept; my point of sharing this is b/c living on Miss Summer for a week with Per & Lina's genuine care, attentiveness and kindness allowed me to totally forget the anxiety & destruction we left behind and truly recover my body, spirit and mind.} They listened closely to our food & drink preferences, and exceeded our expectations! We loved the fresh variety and clean foods Lina cooked & provided. We even tried a few new cocktails! The cabins were comfortable. We recommend packing light b/c you will use fewer clothes than you bring and storage is minimal but adequate, you just have to be organized. We usually sleep in a King and were quite comfortable in the Queen - we were surprised! There was body soap, shampoo & conditioner so you can forget packing that! I loved the trampoline area for sunning and my husband loved being able to seek shade at any time. Per & Lina were on top of towels, water toys, snorkeling gear, every detail......I felt very pampered! They offered to stay out of our way and afford us privacy yet we invited them to our table for meals when they had time and enjoyed their stories! Map moments everyday was informative and gave opportunity to review where we wanted to go. Books they had available allowed us to read more about the islands, history and marine life! We will look forward to being repeat guests on Miss Summer.
