VISAR:

The Virgin Islands Search and Rescue is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to saving life at sea. Bear in mind that VISAR is the only officially recognized search and rescue service in the BVI. Therefore, they provide 24-hour cover every day of the year. Overall, they work closely with the Royal British Virgin Islands Police, fire and ambulance services. For that reason, we ask for $20 for every charter, which we pass directly to VISAR.
