WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED TO CHARTER A YACHT?

A license or certificate is not a requirement, but you need to complete a sailing resume. What are we looking for? Recent experience of captaining a similar sized vessel to the one you are looking to charter. It should be within 5ft in length, and within the last 5 years. If you would like to rent a catamaran, you must have prior experience on a catamaran and of similar size. Of course, if you have a certification do mention it, as it will help.
