On the 6th of September 2017, Hurricane Irma passed directly over the BVI as a category 5 hurricane. For all the people who would like to help us, we have set up a Gofundme page the BVIYC staff to help them get back on their feet. Many lost their homes and personal belongings, so we are asking for your assistance. All donations, no matter how big or small, will go directly to our employees to help them put their lives back together.
In an amazing display of strength and humanity, the entire community of the BVI has come together, and is working to rebuild. Everyday things are changing for the better. Electricity is slowly being restored. Communications are patchy, but available. Running water is piped to certain areas. Supermarket shelves are stocked. Commercial flights have resumed. Restaurants have opened their doors. New leaves have formed on the trees. We leave behind survival mode, and focus on rebuilding our future and the islands that we love.

Due to the fees involved with the “go fund me” process we would much rather send a check directly to you guys to help out a bit. Is this something that we can get to you by mail or some other way?
Looking forward to our return to see you all again

Hi Keith, Thank you so much for wanting to help. Much appreciated! We are aware of the fees, but it is the easiest way at the moment to reach everybody who would like to donate. Of course you can send us a check as well. If you need more details for that, please give us an email at charters@bviyc.com. Looking forward seeing you back again as well!
