We are proud to announce that we have teamed up with our friends at Ibiza Formentera Charter, SPAIN, to offer charters in the beautiful Ibiza and Formentera Islands. Located off the eastern shores of the Spanish mainland, east of Valencia, which was the first country in Europe to hold the Americas cup. South east of Barcelona, Spain’s most cosmopolitan city. This stunning location is perhaps better known by the names of the islands, which include Ibiza, Mallorca (Majorca) and Menorca.
To spend a weekend or a couple days you can rent one of our boats, it has a mooring and a cabin with double bed. But if you want to come with a group of friends, our sailboats are perfect for groups up to 10 people. When renting a sailboat with crew, you do not have to worry about where you’re going to leave the ship, or what to do, since you are bringing a guide on board. All our skippers are experts, familiar with beaches, anchorages, bars and other places of interest in Formentera and Ibiza. If you want to rent a boat one week in Formentera, we suggest one of Ibiza Formentera Charter sailboats. From 3 cabins up to 5 cabins, you can carry up to 11 people plus the skipper. Our boats are fully equipped, so you can make life on board, cook, relax on the deck with cushions or go ashore with the dinghy and it´s outboard motor. The skipper will ensure to always take you to the best places, depending if you want quiet, moderately active or wild party!
With its beautiful architecture and amazing history, Spain has been a cultural center of Europe for hundreds of years. It is a country well known for its erotic Flamenco music, bull-fights, passionate people, wonderful beaches and perfect climate. However, Spain’s gorgeous clear waters are reason enough to pick it as your sailing destination. The Balearic Islands are ideal, due to the Mediterranean climate with mild winters and hot summers and over 300 sunny days annually. The hottest months are July and August, making sailing the most comfortable and least exhausting way to explore the country. Spring or autumn, particularly May and October, are also a good time to charter a boat because the weather is lovely and the country not as crowded as during the summer months. For the longer distance sailor, Ibiza is around 73 miles from Denia- so not a short sail, but certainly worth the distance. This is especially true if you enjoy a bit of nightlife, as Ibiza is known for it’s party atmosphere. As is typical of Mediterranean islands, it is also a naturally stunning place with turquoise water, rocky shorelines and white beaches, and less crowded coves found only with the freedom of sails.
