My wife and I had been planning to rent a bareboat to explore the BVI for a number of years. I've had friends and family make the trip in the past and they all said the same thing. Do it. So finally we did. We spent 9 days aboard the Kiaora, a 38ft Lagoon, with another couple who we have been close friends with for years. Not knowing which company to rent from, we decided to hit the Annapolis sailboat show and talk to them all. We met Abbie there and after a few minutes talking to her about BVI yacht charters and about the Kiaora, we had made up our mind. The trip was fantastic. We only had one minor issue in 9 days sailing with the anchor chain jumping of track on the windlass. Being an avid boater, I can tell you that 1 minor issue in 9 days is a fantastic success. The boat was as advertised, the people in the front office were very friendly and helpful and their head mechanic was knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions we had via cell phone while we were at sea. We had so much fun, that we are getting ready to book again with the same couple and a third couple who decided that this will be a can't miss vacation. I highly recommend BVI Yacht Charters to anyone trying to decide between two equal boats.
