We would like to welcome you to the BVI Yacht Charters Base! On this page you can find information you might find useful while you are still on our docks. Our opening hours are 8:30 am – 5 PM, Monday – Sunday. If you arrived after 5pm for a sleep-aboard, we’ll be in the office at 8.30am tomorrow, until then please make yourselves at home on board the boat.
WHAT’S ON BOARD: You will receive from us a kitbag and cell phone or we have it on board for you if you have a sleep-aboard. In here you will find:

CELL PHONE: With the Kit Bag, you should find your boat’s dedicated cell phone. Please feel free to make use of this cell phone, calling ahead to local restaurants, calling a taxi, or if you wish to phone home to let someone know you have arrived safely. The Cell Phone has $10 worth of credit on it, which you have already paid for. Your $10 is non refundable, so don’t be afraid to use it.

SECURITY: On the whole, Tortola and the BVI is a safe place, with very little crime. However, when leaving your boat ensure all valuables are in a secure place out of sight. Always lock your dinghy when you go ashore, and lock it to your boat at night. Our compound has a security guard at the gate 24/7 and he/she will monitor our marina as well.
