MORE DETAILS ON BIG BIG PLANS
Climb aboard the transom steps of Big Big Plans our Aura 51, and you’ll likely appreciate the spaciousness and comfort it offers, even if you’re a traditionalist or monohull enthusiast. It provides ample space for socializing with friends and family and accommodating various amenities and toys, making it a perfect choice for a charter in the BVI.
The Aura 51 takes over from the Saba 50, featuring more spacious hulls and broader transom entrances. Its redesigned coachroof incorporates numerous solar panels, allowing for increased natural light and a larger flybridge area. Additionally, the main bulkhead doors can fully retract, creating a generous 3-meter-wide opening between the saloon, galley, and cockpit.
Big Big Plans is laid out with 5 impressive queen cabins. Each cabin has a window-facing bed, an en-suite bathroom and more than 6ft 6in of headroom, while the aft cabin in each hull has access to the cockpit via steps and a hatch.
The galley itself in the Aura 51 is spacious and features a generous island, which acts as the central hub of the social space, akin to a modern home. Abundant long skylights, combined with the coachroof windows, create a naturally well-lit atmosphere, and an additional forward-opening window enhances ventilation. The foredeck also offers a large C-shaped seating and lounging area, plus two large trampolines. The chain locker is cleverly topped by a wooden cover, which serves as a small table.
The aft cockpit is particularly welcoming, and serves as the main dining are, with a large table capable of seating 10 guests and surrounded by an L shaped sofa and a bench seat. There’s also a day bed to starboard and a wide aft sofa with a plancha gas grill to starboard. The two sugarscoops link with a central hydraulic platform making access to the dinghy easy.

“A crew of 11 all had one of their best weeks aboard Big Big Plans. The generous vessel offered us more than enough space to play, relax, cook, sleep, swim and repeat. None of our needs were wanting given all the onboard amenities from twin engines, water maker(!!!), generator, electric heads, and very well equipped galley. She sailed beautifully too from light winds to heavy seas alike keeping crew and passengers comfortable throughout. Best of all were the staff at BVI Yacht Charters. From the main office staff to the dock hands and especially technical team we felt extremely well taken care of and respected. It’s impressive how organized and effortless the charter experience was. We just regret not booking a 2nd week!” – Captain Carbz, March 24, Big Big Plans
