MORE DETAILS ON LAURENCIA
Laurencia, the 2023 Lagoon 42, is a luxurious catamaran with a range of impressive features and accommodations. Let’s delve into the details:
Size and Layout:
Laurencia has four cabins, providing ample space for up to eight guests. There are four electric heads (bathrooms) on board for added convenience. The two bow cabins feature single berths, while the aft cabins offer island double beds. The saloon has a convertible table that can accommodate two additional berths if needed.
Cockpit Design:
The cockpit of Laurencia is designed with smooth, elegant curves and a cozy atmosphere. The boat features a single-level design from the aft platform to the saloon, creating a structural “revolution” that enhances space utilization and circulation. The large glazed door spanning the entire width of the coachroof provides easy access to the spacious internal volumes. The transom features suspended steps, offering a wide and inviting platform reminiscent of larger vessels.
Helming Station:
The ergonomic helming station is located at the coachroof bulkhead, providing several advantages. It allows for direct communication between the cockpit and saloon, improving overall circulation on the boat. The helming station offers easy access to the coachroof, facilitating movement and handling of the boom. A composite bimini with a sliding panel ensures an unobstructed view of the sails, while a closure panel enhances safety while underway.
Accommodations:
The aft cabins of Laurencia boast island double beds, providing comfortable sleeping quarters. The forward cabins feature beds with side access for convenience. The aft cabins also benefit from having separate shower facilities in their respective bathrooms. Large windows in all cabins offer excellent natural illumination and stunning views of the surroundings. Vertical glazing in the coachroof ensures a well-lit and comfortable environment in the saloon area. The U-shaped galley is fully equipped with ample work surfaces and storage space and is conveniently oriented towards the external cockpit.
Interior Design:
Laurencia’s interior design reflects meticulous attention to detail and makes excellent use of available space. The interior is characterized by a unique and enjoyable living space, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for guests. Overall, Laurencia offers a combination of luxurious features, spacious accommodations, and thoughtful design elements, making it an exceptional choice for those seeking a remarkable sailing experience.
