MORE DETAILS ON MISS U
The new Sun Odyssey 439 reflects the latest design trend from Jeanneau – dynamic lines, a hard chine on the hull, lots of hatches and windows, along with bevelled edges on the deck combine to form a powerful and straight forward design from Philippe Briand. But her natural beauty is more than skin deep. A closer look reveals an innovative deck plan that makes sailing a pleasure. A Jeanneau is first, and foremost, for sailing. Three main concepts shape the Sun Odyssey 439: a fast, seaworthy sailboat, simple to use deck and a high-quality interior.
The cockpit is equipped with twin helm stations with auto-pilot, GPS/chart plotter and wind instrument within easy reach. An electric winch for the main sail provides for fast and easy sail trim. The bow thruster is a great feature for maneuvering in a marina or in close quarters. The cockpit is wide and comfortable with a folding table in the center. A clear passageway leads aft between the helm stations to the fold down swim platform that provides access to both dinghy and sea.
The interior is finished in warm Alpi teak with modern European styling. Long coachroof windows plus lots of opening ports and hatches, bathe the interior in natural light. The L-shaped galley is located to starboard of the companionway. Equipped with refrigerator, stove, oven, double stainless steel sinks and ample drawers & lockers, meal preparation is a pleasure. The saloon table and wrap-around settee, to starboard, is a comfortable place to dine with family & friends. The table folds and drops down flush with the settee to form a double berth, should extra accommodation be needed. An additional lounge settee with plush cushions is to port.
Miss U has two forward cabins – v-berth with a double bed and a port forward cabin with two single bunk beds. The forward head has a vanity, sink, mirror, storage cabinet, toilet & shower. The two aft cabins have double beds. All cabins have a hanging locker, storage, fan and reading lights. The aft head is located to port with vanity, sink, storage cabinet, toilet and separate shower compartment.
THE EXTERIOR PHOTOS DISPLAYED ON THIS PAGE ARE STOCK PHOTOS PROVIDED BY JEANNEAU. Notable differences are that Miss U does have a Bimini and Dodger, which is not displayed in these images. ALL INTERIOR PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MISS U HERSELF.
