MORE DETAILS ON SAINT BLUE
The spirit of the sea shines bright on Saint Blue – a rare breed of nimble, performance catamarans. The legendary Lagoon 380 has advanced over the last 20 years, with plenty of refinements. Saint Blue is quick, spry on a tack and a breeze to handle short-handed. With her three cabin/two head configuration, Blue is perfect for one, two or three couples, a single family or monohull sailors looking to experience two hulls.
Most of all Saint Blue is safe – equally at home on the high seas or relaxing in port. Captain and crew can move about effortlessly thanks to wide side decks and a rigid walkway on the trampoline. The wide transom and spacious stairs on each hull offer high handrails for safe access to the sea and dinghy.
Although the smallest in the Lagoon range, the Lagoon 380 is a seaworthy yacht built to the highest standards. She is rated rated CE Category A (Ocean), with a storied past – hundreds have crossed the Atlantic and some can be found circumnavigating the globe.
An electric winch with foot controls and all lines running to the helm station makes Saint Blue a single-handed dreamboat. But why not share the fun? With a large dual-helm seat integrated into the cockpit, everyone on board can enjoy the sailing experience. The fully protected cockpit has a rigid bimini and a large table with plenty of seating – a perfect place for lounging, dining and savoring a well-earned sunset.
The saloon is light & airy with Lagoon’s signature vertical windows giving a 360-degree view. The windows and rounded ceiling give consistent headroom throughout, cutting down on sunlight that could otherwise heat the saloon. The large oval dining table with seating that accommodates eight also converts to a double bed if needed. The galley has twin stainless steel sinks, a three-burner gas cooktop with oven and a spacious front-opening fridge.
The starboard hull contains a bright, oversized cabin with queen size bed. Relax with a good book in private, cozy comfort – fans and intuitive LED lights are at your fingertips. A wide passageway with hanging lockers and plenty of shelves leads to the bow where you’ll find a Queen Mary-sized bathroom with an enormous standup shower. The port hull includes a queen size cabin, small head and a cozy double berth with cabinets and hanging lockers.
Saint Blue isn’t your average Lagoon 380. She’s loaded with customizations and eco-friendliness. At the marina, your charter can begin cool and dry with shoreside air-conditioning. On the hook, the cabins with large hatches are perfect for sleepy-time stargazing and trade wind comfort. On hot nights switch on nature’s A/C with the provided breeze boosters. Nature also provides the power with 360W of solar, keeping those diesel-fumed, battery-charging sunsets to a minimum. The cockpit is equipped with a clean-burning gas grill and a very-cool, 12v electric cooler/fridge/freezer under the cockpit seat. No need to buy ice! Or if you do, you can keep a bag frozen for the entire charter. And don’t get us started on the Highfield dinghy, with its integrated seat locker and Honda outboard.
Wind, waves and holy water, let Saint Blue be your guide to the BVI’s – so you can savor every moment of your sacred vacation.
